I’ve always been a note-taker and a doodler but recently have discovered the pleasure of Scripture coloring pages. Focusing our thoughts on a Bible verse while coloring makes it easy to reflect on the Scripture and it is therapeutic – it is relaxing and good for our soul.

The free printable coloring pages below are with some of my favorite Scripture verses. Once I started creating coloring pages, I found that quickly I was building up a collection, so I would love to share them with you.

Bible Verse Coloring Pages pdf
These Scriptures bring such encouragement as they remind us of God’s love and faithfulness . I have included a coloring page from one of my favorite psalms. The psalmist asks the question, ‘Where does my help come from?’ And then answers, with this great declaration of faith:
“My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:2
I felt I also had to include some reminders of God’s love, for where would we be without His unfailing, enduring love!
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God!” 1 John 3:1
“For the LORD is good and his love endures forever” Psalm 100:5
Spending time on Scripture coloring pages is a good way to still our minds while reflecting on God’s word. And you know God’s word is powerful and effective, so I’ve included some short prompts for gratitude and praise.
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1Thessalonians 5:18
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4
To finish this sample of free coloring pages, I’ve included a request, a reminder that God is a loving, generous, Heavenly Father, who will provide all that we need.
“If any of you lacks wisdom you should ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5
Scripture Coloring Pages for Adults
The free coloring pages that I’ve included here are designed for adults and make a great icebreaker if you are gathering with a church group in an informal setting. But they can also be used for teenagers. I’ve been surprised in our church youth group how many of the teens enjoy just coming to sit at a table to chat while coloring Bible verse pages – no pressure!

Psalm 100 Coloring Pages
This is a psalm for giving grateful praise, and is only five short verses. Psalm 121 Coloring Page
For several years I drove to work in the direction of the Welsh mountains. The view would remind me of Psalm 121 which starts, ‘I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? Wisdom Bible Verse Coloring Pages
I’ve chosen three Bible verses to reflect on God’s gift of wisdom – that He gives freely to those who will ask. Meditate on James 1:5, Daniel 2:21 and Proverbs 2:6. As you color these pages let the truth of God’s faithful love, and complete provision for us, soak into your spirit, and be blessed!
I Corinthians 13 Coloring Page
1 Corinthians 13 is probably one of the most well known passages of Scripture in the Bible, often read at weddings. But the love described in that chapter is far more than romantic love. It is sacrificial and inspirational love. What a great way to reflect on the truth of these Scriptures through coloring pages!
